PROJECT LANGUSIK seeks to tackle access to music and cultural engagement at all levels, and the only way to maximize access is to create as many doors as possible!
Memories of Melodies
"Memeories of Melodies" is the music and cultural education component of PROJECT LANGUSIK. It is comprised of five components which spans the breadth of neurological development in youth from birth through university.
Instrument Creation Workshops
"Instrument Creation Workshops" (ICW's) are meant to give us a hand-on approach to reclaiming cultural and creative autonomy. From PVC pipe flutes to percussion instruments made from nature, ICW's are a great experience for all ages!
F. I. I. T. E.
"F. I. I. T. E." is the festival where it all comes together. An annual festival held in Senegal, F. I. I. T. E. is about coming together and uniting as people to share and experience the power of collective music making.
